Listen: Rogue Wave – College

Its been over three years since indie pop-rockers Rogue Wave released their massively disappointing fourth album, Permalight.  That album, filled with synth-pop dance numbers, strayed away from the classic acoustic guitar sound to which fans of the band had grown accustomed.  The Pacific Northwest-by-way-of-Oakland outfit recently released the first single from their upcoming fifth album, and it appears Zach Rogue and Co. has righted the ship.  “College” is definitely more in line with some the band’s earlier work, particularly the more upbeat tracks from 2007’s Asleep at Heaven’s Gate.  The album, Nightingale Floors, is due out June 4th courtesy of Vagrant Records.  Check out “College,” along with the album’s tracklist, below.
